About

I've always been drawn to places with character—homes that feel as though they've grown naturally from their surroundings and have stories to tell long before anyone walks through the front door. That appreciation for thoughtful design eventually led me to architecture, where I found the perfect balance between creativity, technical problem-solving, and craftsmanship.

Today I work as an Architectural Designer in Connecticut, specializing in custom residences, renovations, and historic preservation projects throughout New England. From the first sketch to the final details on site, I enjoy every stage of the design process—transforming ideas into carefully considered spaces that are both beautiful and enduring. Whether I'm developing concepts, creating detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants, or working alongside builders during construction, I believe the best projects come from collaboration and attention to detail.

Over the course of my career I've had the opportunity to work on everything from classical waterfront cottages to contemporary custom homes, as well as commercial and civil engineering projects. Those experiences have given me a broad understanding of how architecture comes together—from site planning and permitting to construction administration and technical detailing—while reinforcing the importance of designing buildings that respond to both their context and the people who inhabit them.

While I enjoy the technical side of architecture, I'm equally passionate about the artistic process behind it. Hand sketching, digital visualization, photography, and graphic presentation all play an important role in how I communicate ideas. I believe every project begins with a story, and my goal is to tell that story through thoughtful design, carefully crafted drawings, and compelling visualizations.

Outside the office you'll usually find me exploring New England, visiting historic towns, hiking, skiing, golfing, or simply looking for inspiration in places both old and new. Many of the sketches, photographs, and artwork throughout this portfolio come from those experiences and continue to influence the way I think about architecture.

I earned my Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami, where I also studied Urban Studies and Art, and spent a semester studying architecture in Rome. Experiencing centuries of architecture firsthand reinforced my appreciation for timeless design, craftsmanship, and the lasting impact that well-designed buildings have on their communities.

For me, architecture is about more than creating beautiful buildings. It's about designing places that feel authentic, are built to last, and become meaningful parts of the lives of the people who call them home.
